LYNDA THROOP

While the struggle continues through every painting to learn about colour, value and brushstrokes, there is a desire in me to express the world around me in a deeper way. Most of all, I am attracted to the play of light on a scene, object or animal. I want to capture it dancing across the canvas making a path to the heart of the painting to shout, "An awesome God has created these wonderful things to show His love to us" . My hope is that my paintings will provide a measure of peace and pleasure in this often chaotic and hectic world.
